Mid Valley with sis..

Well I know I was supposed to be doing a lot of work today. But sis wanted to go shoe shopping at Mid Valley so any excuse to get outta the house hehe. I know, I'm a total procrastinator. Anyway, surprisingly we didn't fight like cats and dogs at all and got along quite fine. It was totally shocking trust me :D
Well we got there and as everyone who knows me would know very well, went and ate first :p Anyway totally had a good time window shopping and trying on clothes. Only thing is, couldn't find any skirts that fit me. Haihh..need a smaller butt hehe. I can already see Shu's comment on this in my head. So the best part of all is that not only did we drool over practically every shoe and dress in Mid Valley, I found the perfect-est most fabulous dress for my sister's 21st birthday. Only thing is, it was trailing on the floor ady, it was sooo long. Why can't I be taller!! But I couldn't get a picture though. There was the complication of the mirror being outside and my arm not being long enough to get the full length of the dress. Well anyway finding it was easy. Now for the hard part-getting someone to pay for it. And it was the laaaaaaaaaaast one summore!! If I don't get it soon it's gonna be gone!!! Ok moment of drama over.. Sis found a dress too. It was a...wait I guess I shouldn't reveal it til the party huh? Hehe...

So anyway, we had a good time la. And as my Mid Valley tradition, I bought another three pairs of earrings. I'm obsessed, I know hehe. And when we were leaving, we saw Sarath outside. His friend was kinda cute. Sis felt so old when I told her that he was too young for her hehe. Anyway, I totally have a good mind to complain to Aunty Hayma that her son doesn't come talk to us in public all. Kidding, kidding. I'm just crapping la, I must be tired. So I guess I should get back to work now. Got my web page to further design, my drama lines to memorise, my stuff on hitler which I have to sit down and get to, and of course my management and web page design notes to study for next week's midterm. Wow listing it down just makes it scarier. Oh and I forgot, I have the web page design practical test too! Hmm off to work I go and hopefully I'll stop procrastinating hehe...

My epiphany

I just had a rude awakening today. And rude awakenings are exactly what they sound like...RUDE. You see, this entire week has been pretty much fantastic. I am totally serious, I could just stay in foundation forever. I mean, its just been so great that I really have no words that can describe how much fun we have just from doing stupid stuff and being all together. And of course thinking about all this makes me sad cause of the thought of it drawing to a close very, very, VERY soon. And in the midst of all this sadness, I'll promise myself that I'll have more fun than ever before we leave just to sort of increase the amount of very good memories that my friends and I have created here. All along I've been so wrapped up in my bubble of fun/sadness that I didn't notice one very important thing.

It doesn't seem like anyone else really cares.

I mean here I am walking around like the world is about to end (I'm such a drama queen I know hehe) and everyone else has either already accepted the fact that foundation is almost over and we'll be going our separate ways soon, or they're in complete denial and not accepting the fact that a mass separation is due in our near future. I know it's probably not much of an epiphany but it came as quite a shock to me, I don't know exactly why.

Anyway, this week was a bunch of first's for this sem. First time skipping class, first time watching the guys play futsal, first time the guys got caught for copying in web page design practical and were made to stay back over an hour to finish their work the non-copy-and-paste way, the first time we practiced our drama...lots of stuff. I've just been totally loving every moment of it. Our post results trauma has faded though. Transalated that means : we don't feel guilty about our results anymore unless we think about it and are therefore doing the nonsense which we did last sem. The kind of nonsense we do is kinda tame but it can prove deadly when we sit for finals. We'll sit at the back of class and play bingo la, nama negeri la, all kinds of nonsense and totally not pay attention to whatever the lecturer is saying. We're not quite criminals yet but its fatal enough to our grades though.

Futsal on Wednesday was fun though. The creepy dude who disturbs me (aka the owner who is married and has a kid. total eeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww-fest) tried to ruin it by calling me but it was just so much fun. The guys had this above-19 vs below-19 match going on. Basically it was the group of nineteen year olds against the older ones. Only Khuben was kinda tersesat at the above-19 la. It was a nice match to watch. The guys were really funny when they kept slipping and sliding on the turf. So apparently, the girls (me, Anna, Michelle and Nanthinee) were also divided. Instead of being neutral like we usually are, Anna and Michelle were supporting the below-19's (I wonder why...*cough Aaron and Gabe cough cough* hehe) and me and Nanthinee were supporting the above-19's. And in the end the above-19's won la. But it was a very close match though, it ended 4-3.

After that I suppose we were waiting for CK cause nobody wanted to walk to the bus stop. All very lazy already la. But he disappeared to goodness knows where for goodness knows how long so eventually Aaron gave up and we walked to the bus stop. But when we got there ony..................CK's van passing by in the opposite direction. Me, Michelle and Aaron..staring at the van, looking at each other haha. Then Aaron drained my credit talking to CK and asking where to wait all, and when the Metro bus came, he just said forget it let's take the bus. Grrrrrrrrr.............hehe

Anyway sorry people but I have no pictures to put here. Good also la I'm dam malas to upload. It was strange enough that i suddenly had the mood to blog so I'm just going with the flow hehe. Guess I should go and get started on the million things that I have to get done by this weekend. Wish me luck la people I have an insane amound of work to do. Anyway, thanks Michelle and Shu for displaying your craziness to the world in my chatbox. It's very much appreciated hehe. Oh and of course I must thank Anna for being the inspiration behind a few of them hehe.

Random thoughts...

Well it's official.
I'm sick...
Haihh..its only been two weeks back at uni and apparently I'm already stressed out enough to fall sick. Then again it couldbe the classical reason of mine for falling sick. Mom noticed some time ago that whenever Dad goes on a trip somewhere, or goes away somewhere for work, I fall sick. It's not that I miss him that much, it's just a subconscious thing to do with my screwed up mind, I think. So Dad left the day before yesterday, and as expected I started sniffling and sneezing the very next day. Gosh what's gonna happen when I move out?? hehe Anyway, sorry Shu I know I'm supposed to be resting but having nothing to do is driving me nuts! So just thought I'd blog a little while.

Well it's finally gonna happen tonight. Manchester United versus Liverpool at Old Trafford. I was feeling too dam sick in the morning to bet on anything with Joash but I just might. If I'm in any condition to fulfill the conditions obviously. So that's happening tonight and NOTHING (including a blocked nose and an achingly sore throat that makes me reluctant to speak) is gonna stop me from watching this match. Fingers crossed that Liverpool gets pummelled..badly :D GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED!! They better not make me regret this post hehe.

So we all had a good day yesterday. It was the return of the irritant and I'm sure we were all very glad about it hehe. Yeah the irony in that sentence makes me laugh too. Well I thought I should say that it's nice to have you back, thought it comes at the cost of continuous remarks about my weight :S Then again, what else is new?

So I'm supposed to be going for futsal tomorrow with the church gang but I'm in no condition to go. See la if I miraculously get better by tonight. Okay I'm grasping at straws about what to type already so I'd better go. Anyway, I'm supposed to be reasearching Hitler's leadership skills :S Oh wait, might as well call Minnie first. Mom went off to PD this morning with her girlfriends so cab gayut on the phone. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! hehe

Quality time...

Well I totally have A LOT to blog about yesterday and today, which is probably the most quality time I have spent with the girls. It has been mostly just us girls and it's been kinda totally great. We seem to never run out of things to talk about, and when we do, we just all go completely and totally nuts hehe. Its quite a sight to behold, trust me :D Well I have an abundance of pictures, because well Shu has a blog too!!!!! Gosh she wanted to make her blog dam 'happening' la. Somehow that included taking a truckload of photos with MICHELLE and MY phones hehe. Get a new phone for goodness sake la Shu ;p So anyway, moving on...

TUESDAY

Well we just got back from a three-day break since we had a public holiday. So I honestly thought for some reason that our class started at 8am on Tuesday. So like an idiot, instead of sleeping in cause I had an 11AM CLASS, I came to uni and totally wasted three hours with Shu. But anyway I had fun. Who wouldn't with Shu around in her lamest of the lamest mood? hehe So we ended up attempting to do our tutorials (or at least Shu was attempting and I kept disturbing her hehe), failing to do our tutorials, walking around, photostating a huge bunch of notes and going to the mamak and eating. And of course, talking and talking and talking and talking non-stop. But then again, that pretty much goes without saying. Eventually we headed back to our 'happening' hangout spot-the cafeteria, and Michelle and Anna had mysteriously appeared. So we were late for class becaaaaaaause, under Shu's greatest insistence we were totally camwhoring in the cafeteria *sigh* Shu, Shu...

The rest of the day was pretty much normal la. Oh except for the shock of seeing Gabe almost totally bald. I had a total heart attack-ish experience right there outside the UTAR computer lab :S We had English class which turned out to be kinda fun. This i guess would be because Miss Malar seems to be loosening up a little and she's even joking around with us and all. What can I say? TD15 and TD16 is simply too lovable when we're nice and responsive in the class. Or rather, when the guys are in the mood to be funny in a nice way instead of a horrifying way hehe. So somehow, in this class Gabe became known as a Troop Leader (he was the troop leader in scouts), Nicholas became the President of a chess club, and CK became the Vice President. Of the chess club. Wow, is that hard to picture or what? CK playing chess hehe. Anyway after all that comedy, there was a debate on animal rights surprisingly. Aaron, Michelle and Gabe all got stuck with it along with Sunny, Sathiya, Chor, Lau and San Len (who happens to be the only dude in TD15 brave enough to do assignmens, experiments etc with the TD15 troublemakers namely Thiyaagoo, Thibash and Nevin). It was quite interesting to watch, especially when Aaron and Gabe joined forces. Man..that was a totally hilarious class. So after that we were waiting for Michelle and Gabe. All were very excited la, first time we were all going back home together. While waiting me, Shu, Anna and Thibash were working on our drama. Actually me and Shu were doing the work la. The rest were just there for moral support. Yes that means you too Anna hehe. After that when the guys came out they were totally teasing Thibash about something which I haven't figured out yet. Hmm..the curiosity is almost killing me! Anyway, after how long we took the UTAR bus to Asia Jaya. There also all started camwhoring la.

Then me, Shu and Michelle decided to waste some time at Tajima first. Then those two pulak started camwhoring. Shu claimed it was to keep her awake. Suuuuuure Shu...we all believe that hehe.

After that nothing much la. Just said our goodbyes and went home. But got kinda irritated when it was already like 7pm when I got to Damai LRT station. When I started walking only it had to rain. Already it was so scary walking at that time...ALONE. Then when I got home pulak Dad didn't even get concerned that I was half wet and I walked home at that hour. Got so irritated. *Sigh* Hopefully it was just because he was busy...

TODAY

Today was spent TOTALLY the whole time I was with the girls. Had an 8am class this time. Gosh was so sleepy on the bus I was so afraid that I would miss the stop. Anyway, after Management class me and Michelle got a total shock. There's this guy who has been in my class since sem 1 and Michelle has been saying since then that he looked so familiar and all. I thought so too but it was too much of a coincidence that we both thought so. So naturally after a few weeks of brain-racking I let it go. So we don't really talk to him la he mostly talks to Shu and sometimes Michelle. Suddenly we made a discovery today and the mystery was solved! He was wearing a MAD camp t shirt!!!! Michelle was the one who noticed and pointed it out to me. And after that, even more shockingly I found out that he had been in my team for the games and we had actually spoken so there was totally no excuse that I didn't recognise him. And only then he also made the connection and remembered me!! After that we were totally talking non-stop la. Nothing could stop our yakking I tell you. I was so surprised I even called Minnie to tell her. Yeah I'm jobless I know hehe. So later we had English class. That time also the camera phones suddenly started coming out *sigh*.

So predictably and as usual, those three monkeys Anna, Michelle and Shu were talking away and all going crazy and I was doing all the work. Man I really gotta stop being their Mom hehe. After a while I went on strike and refused to write anything more. It had no impact whatsoever haha. So I went to the washroom just walked around for a while and came back. They hadn't written a single line and were struggling away hehe. So I had pity on them and went ahead writing la. Haiyo bad time to go soft :D

So after class was over, me, Michelle and Shu decided to go to Amcorp for a while before going home. It was very early la. So anyway, we were rushing so that we could catch the Mcd 12-3 offer for mcvalue meals. Unfortunately we were JUST 3 minutes too late :( So what? We ate like pigs anyway hehe. And of course, there was a lot of camwhoring going on...

We ended up staying quite a while, not surprisingly. And people, congratulate me! I finally got the nerve to tell Mum my results. *Sigh* Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After all, she can't yell at me like I'm a kid anymore. But it was crazy hard her disappointed like that. Darn...

:( But at least everything's out in the open la. Shouldn't be too bad. But she does want me to try for a 4.0 this sem though :S I just said I would try my absolute best. Which I will...

Anyway, gonna go sleep now and wake up for Manchester United versus Inter Milan, second leg later. Night people, take care... :)

Trip to Taiping

Well, as predicted here I am, blogging about my trip to Taiping hehe. Yup, jobless is my middle name. Anyway, before I start feeling guilty about putting my assignment research on hold to blog, I'd better get the details out of the way. Oh, but a little reason to mourn in advance, me and the family didn't have time to go shopping :( Ok fine I admit it, we did have plenty of time but we were lazy to get our butts outta the house hehe.

DAY 1

Well we very ambitiously wanted to leave the house at 12pm. Since Joash had school and finished at 12.30 the timing should have been about all right. But I think we only reached the school at about 1.30 :S Sorry Joash but if I recall correctly, us being late was not directly involved with me la hehe. So off to Taiping we went. Only got there around 5pm if I'm not mistaken. Then it was straight on to manual labour. Well now I'm exxagerating. We just arranged the tables n chairs and cleaned up a little. Then had just enough time to shower, get ready and the guests were already there. The birthday 'party' itself was just a prayer meeting la. It went quite well I guess. The immediate family were all involved la. Mum gave a from the family side, Clarence chittappa from the in-laws side, Jennie Chitti just did the opening, Dad did the prayer and Alfred mama was the emcee sort of. Sis, Joash and me performed Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. Or rather, Sis and me were singing and Joash was hiding and playing the guitar hehe. I'm quite sure I destroyed any evidence of the performance la. But I'll keep my eye out for any surviving traces just in case hehe. Anyway, everything went smoothly and I resisted the temptation of eating chicken!! haha Everyone left early till only the extended family was left. With family all I memang enjoy myself la. Talking about all kinds of nonsense and the future of our 'great' country is quite entertaining when my family is around hehe. I think that night I crashed quite early cause got no Internet to entertain me :S And anyway, I was super dead tired...zzzzz

Day 2

The previous night, the whoooole family was debating about whether or not we should go to church hehe. It was quite a one-sided debate cause only Mum was so semangat-ed to actually go to church at 8AM!!! (What is it with me and 8am nowadays la?) But in the end, being the priest's family, the guilt won out and we all turned up at church the next day. With the exception of Jennie chitti and Clarence chittappa la hehe. Sis woke up sooner or later la but me and Joash refused to get outta bed until Mum came n threatened to not take us to watch a movie after church. Joash got up soon after that but I fell asleep again hehe. Only woke up at 7.50 and started rushing around like crap. Obviously we were late to church but surprisingly only by 10 minutes hehe. Miracles like this apparently only happens in Taiping. After that we half heartedly went to Taiping Sentral to check for movie times but the cinema wasn't open yet :S I wanted to look around first for a nice top, maybe a pair of shoes...but unfortunately Dad was illegally parked outside so we had to rush la. We went for a drive around Taiping instead. And you know what, taking a drive there has the total opposite effect of taking a drive here in KL. I mean road rage is inevitable here, but there, driving around is so peaceful and so calming. And although we had great plans for that day (watching a movie, shopping, night safari at the zoo etc etc) we just ended up sitting at home and watching the Commander in Chief marathon hehe. Well at least we weren't at each other's throats the whole day like we would have been on any other day. Jennie chitti and Clarence chittappa left in the evening la. After that we all felt too lazy to do anything so I was just playing around with some songs for Sis's birthday while being disturbed by Joash. Everyone was doing work on their own laptops la (Did I mention that my family of 5 brought one laptop each except for Joash. We are such a spoilt family. Gone are the days when we all share and fight over one computer hehe. And I anticipated all kinds or arguments over the ONE dial up connection but apparently we all accepted the no-Internet reality of the situation). Soon after that, without Messenger to teman me, I fell asleep about midnight.

Day 3

Too soon, it was already time to come back to the hustle and bustle of KL. I admit I was relieved at the idea of having the wireless connection back and my best friend, the Internet. But as always, I was also kinda sad at leaving. As Mum said, Grandma spoils us so much, we practically grow horns by the time we get to KL hehe. So we were off in the morning, and back here by around 2pm. And I've been online since then hehe. Tomorrow I'll be back to classes and assignments and tension and miserableness. But it shouldn't be so bad hehe. Neways my pictures are all still in my phone cause my memory card reader is PMS-ing and refuses to work. As soon as its mood swings are over I'll post the pictures.

Well apparently my mood for blogging has made a comeback :D
I better start taking more pics la. The last few posts have had a few but it looks so lame with only words :S Anyway, today was Friday. TGIF, huh? Not really for me. Know why? That's one out of seven weeks gone. Already. Gosh so fast..

So the story is that I'm leaving for Taiping tomorrow. Its my grandmother's 75th birthday. Transalate all of that and you get: I'm gonna balik kampung and there's no Internet connection there :S So I thought I'd better get all the blogging urges out of my system before I leave hehe. Let's start with today. Class started at EIGHT AM!! What the hell kinda time is that to start class? Shouldn't they know that having 8am classes just beckons everyone to be late? I myself was about 15 minutes late. Not including the time taken to look for my class til I finally had the sense to message Anna. DUH!! Why am i so blurr right? Let me tell you why. IT WAS EIGHT IN THE FREAKING MORNING!!!

However, all that aside, I actually enjoyed class. Discussion in TD15 is not an event to be missed, let me tell you hehe. Anyway, after that I had about an hour to waste before out Web Page Design class. Not surprisingly Thibash decided to miss our 8am class and showed up early for the next class *roll eyes* hehe. Thibash, Thibash.. Web Page Design was almost like being back in Programming class. Why? Cause we were kinda not paying attention like 75% of the time hehe. But neways we pretty much got the point of the lecture. We have Shu to thank for that though haha.

I had a totally new experience after that. At 12pm there was sort of a meeting for those people who scored a cgpa of 2.0 and below. I was planning to leave. But my 'angel' side of me decided to stay for some moral support la. So there I was, with all the lecturers (Who were mostly Indians by the way. I think they had already anticipated that most of the failing crowd would be Indian. But there were a surprising amount of Chinese as well) thinking I had failed something or another, only the guys, Anna and Michelle actually knew that my CGPA was just fine. So at first Miss Malar, our irritating English lecturer was just telling us how to calculate our CGPA to make sure we pass foundation. That was fine la I was listening. Then suddenly they started distributing personality tests. We girls were a little confused as to what we were supposed to do. But the lecturers were kinda guarding the door so our escape route was cut off hehe. So what to do? Did the stupid test la. But after a while I didn't mind la. Where the guys are, I'll always be giggling away. Then one fellow was lecturing us on some stuff which I don't even remember anymore. But hey, I just saw it as a laughable experience la. It was kinda weird I admit. But I didn't mind that much. Michelle and Anna were a bit disturbed though. Some of the lecturers totally don't try to cover when they're gossiping about us. Kinda drove them up the wall a little.

After that, gosh I was wasting time like craaaaaaaaaaaaaazy. I only left for home at like 4.30. What I was doing for so dam long completely escapes me. But anyways, CK sent us to the LRT station. The van was an oven as usual but it was totally hilarious. Where Aaron is I'll always be laughing, and now on top of that CK has kinda gone cuckoo haha. It was totally adorable to watch. When we got to Asia Jaya suddenly met Anna there pulak. So all in all, not exactly an eventful day, but an enjoyable one :D

Well I'll be leaving tomorrow afternoon for Taiping. I bet I'll come online on Monday as soon as we get home hehe. I'm so totally becoming obsessed with coming online. Back to Uni (SEM THREE HERE WE COME!!!)

Well its been a great three days back at uni for our third and final semester. Man, saying that makes it feel so weird, so....final. When I went to the cafeteria as usual on Monday morning and saw Shu, Nicholas and Michelle already there and waving, it was simply like we had never left. But the thing is (I don't know if this is just me) I feel like there's a sadness hanging over me. Knowing that this is our last semester together, like really together in one class, I just can't help but feel extremely depressed. I mean Setapak is gonna be freaking amazing, I know. It'll be a whole different experience altogether and I definitely AM looking forward to it. But one year in foundation, though it passed by in a total blur, was a long time. I've gotten attached to my routines, my hangouts, my friends...man this is totally harder than I thought.

Monday and Tuesday I had an amazing time as usual. Kinda spent some time being the world's best freaking tiang lampu but hey I'm getting used to it. I won't say I'm getting good at it cause that would so totally be a bad thing. Monday totally felt like old times. Going to HQ, watching the guys' antics and all. Tuesday we met one of Anna's friends, who wasn't as we all thought, from Klang but from Shah Alam. Apparently Shah Alam guys are less weird than Klang guys (No offense Aaron, you're totally unique that's all :D). There's nothing in particular that I want to say about it. Just that gosh our English for Communication lecturer really gets on my nerves. She has this fake accent which fluctuates between American and British accents, she LOVES to do the head shaking thing, and MAN just when i thought I was once mean and sarcastic, she came along. The class is kinda interesting because of the discussions we have la, but she's really degrading sometimes and totally looks down on us. I could not be more annoyed. Then, on top of that Thiyaagoo just HAD to say that I look like her and that i talk like her. What the hell??? I soooooo do not have any fake accents in case nobody noticed.

Now to the serious stuff. I seriously think there's something totally wrong with me. I'm getting annoyed so easily these days, its scaring me. I mean I hide it ok enough I guess. But when i hide my temper, another problem comes up.

My sarcasm.

I've noticed lately that the sarcasm which I was kinda famous for at school has been creeping back. I mean, I feel weird without being sarcastic cause it kinda feels like sarcasm is my thing. In controlled amounts its totally fine. But the thing is, I can't really control it. Whatever comes out of my mouth is not exactly well thought out so I end up being kinda mean. Its petty and weird I know but that's me. WEIRD. *Sigh*

So I won't lie and say I had a horrible day today cause that's not at all true. I was having a perfectly good time until after lunch. Everyone was with their respective partners thus leaving me the tiang lampu yet again. Thiyaagoo caught me looking totally lost and for some reason it annoyed me way more than usual. Then after that suddenly I was told that the girls were not going for futsal. Not that it was a big deal, I wasn't dying to go or anything. But being asked my opinion would have been nice though. I got over it la its not like I have any reason to be mad.

And so, in a weird mood I was. But I did try to be a little less mean than I usually am. And I do truly appreciate Nicholas, Shu and Michelle for tolerating my weirdness and doing their absolute level best to include me in the conversation hehe. I felt better once the sting wore off I guess. I can never stay mad very long. So it was pretty much normal after that. Me and Michelle went to Tajima and their cheesecake is GOOD! Yummy...hehe

Neways I'm supposed to be sleeping now in preparation for tonight's Manchester United versus Newcastle. Why oh why must it be at 3.30?? By the time the game is over, Mum will be waking me up 10 minutes later to get ready for uni :S The things I do for Manchester United *Sigh*
