A New Season Part 2

Episode two!!!!!

Not trying to spoil the surprise or anything, but this episode is soooo much better than the first episode :) It’s the Flo-Rida episode this time and I kinda like his songs except that annoying one ‘Good Feeling’, so that in itself was a good thing. And no, none of the crews dance to ‘Good Feeling’. Or maybe they did and I just repressed the memory. Let’s get right into it shall we?

Group number was like shit la. You don’t get to see much dancing at all; all you see is Flo-Rida holding his huge ass mike (Which I thought was a gigantic ring at first) and rapping. I’m quite opposed to posting it cause it’ll be quite pointless. Well other than seeing JC in shades la. And laughing at Flo-Rida’s huge ass mike. And seeing this high school girl’s ‘I’m so hot’ face. Okay that part was pointless too. Oh well I suppose I’m posting it anyway.

Rated Next Generation, Collizion Crew, Funkdation, Mos Wanted Crew & Elektrolytes
Song: Wild Ones – Flo-Rida feat Sia ( I love this song!)

Did you see that mike?? Goodness gracious. And did anyone think that guy from Rated Next Generation look like that Madison guy from Iconic Boyz?

See, the one on the left is Bailey Anderson from Rated Next Generation and the one on the right is Madison Alamia from Iconic Boyz. Don't they look alike? Sorta kinda sorta?

I was like, oh so fast ah he ditched his crew and formed a new one. But no, he’s not the same guy. And doesn’t Flo-Rida look scary when he smiles without his shades on? And the video was too short to see that girl’s ‘I’m so hot’ face. But anyway, this performance was not so great so let’s get into the real performances :)

Elektrolytes
Week 2 - Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – Club Can’t Handle Me

So I couldn't find any videos of their pre-performance stuff so I suppose I should just tell you what happens. First of all, whoa 787 flashback. One of the Elektrolytes members suffered an injury that made him unable to perform last minute. So the crew had to change their entire routine. This is exactly what happened last season to my favourite crew 787. Only their injury was more serious, the guy actually broke his leg the night before their opening performance. So yeah, I felt for these guys. And their performance wasn’t bad… the first half was boring as shit la, but when it picked up it was pretty interesting. It wasn’t ‘whoa’ or anything, but they were better than last week’s crews at least. Excluding Fanny Pak of course. But they look promising. Closing was pretty great though :)

JC’s eyes look so sparkly and he looks so cute when he’s laughing at what Flo-Rida said… Aaaaaand I’m tearing my eyes away. And Lil Mama really looks pretty la. I’m kinda freaked out. She always looks so…unusual. Oh well.

Rated Next Generation
Week 2 – Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – Right Round

Riiiiiight. What was that about their group being about precision? I wonder what precision means to these girls. And guy. Did anything in their performance look precise to you? Don’t get me wrong, I did like it but it seemed so kelam kabut gila babi to me. They were just tossing their hair around for pretty much the entire performance. And the judges were right, they need something more than that to actually seem interesting.

And what was that about them ‘sacrificing’ their social lives? Boohoo, the poor things made so great a sacrifice just so they could dance? Urgh, whatever.

By the way, this is the second time ABDC gave kids a song about sex. This thing is really freaking me out. They’re making a habit of this!

And look, D Bloody Trix giving actual advice. How shocking.

Collizion Crew
Week 2 – Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – Low

I like this crew. Their performance was pretty great. Did you see that closing stunt?? So yes, an early favourite for me here :)

And again with the shoutout to Lil Mama. Can the crews like shoutout to D Bloody Trix (Okay maybe not D Bloody Trix) or JC for a change? I know they all love Lil Mama cause she’s so nice with her critiques but come on. Let’s not try making it super duper obvious that everyone’s kissing up to her here. *sigh*

Funkdation
Week 2 – Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – Good Feeling (So I did repress this memory :s)

Okaaaaaaaaaay so there was a reason I repressed this memory. They didn’t suck but wasn’t this performance just...meh? I only liked about 10 seconds worth of the entire performance. And their outfits distracted me so much I had to watch it again to actually see their dance moves. Very poor wardrobe choices there :s

And what was up with D Bloody Trix? Hola it seems. Whatever.

MOS Wanted Crew
Week 2 – Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – In The Ayer

*SCREAAAAAAM* I LOOOOOOOVE THIS CREW!!!!! Did you see that? DID you SEE that? Did YOU see THAT? OH. MY. GOD. The way they went from super slow motion to super fast. The way they did that balloon pumping thing. The way they did that flying hand thing. The way they grooved at the ‘oh hot damn’ part. The way they finished oh my goodness did you see that closing??

I am madly in love with this crew. I don’t wanna sound like an idiot if this doesn’t happen but based on the first 2 episodes? Fanny Pak versus MOS Wanted Crew final.

Well there’s also my crush on half the crew to mention :D That Ian guy with his adorable hair and look back at the opening number to see his adorable smile. Or you can just watch the judges comments. The dude with the cornrows with all his intensity while he’s dancing. The JP guy with all his cockiness. The Chinese guy who danced with his cap with his adorable smile. Oh hot damn indeed. Dayumn.

D Bloody Trix ruined it by starting with his ‘you guyses’ thing again. *sigh*

And JC was rambling again. He’s so cute….. *drool* And NO, I don’t just love them because JC said they were the best.

Okay so obviously Funkdation was the bottom crew and they got to battle Mix’d Elements, the bottom crew from Week 1. The battle was pretty interesting, check it out.

Mix’d Elements versus Funkdation
Week 2 –Flo-Rida Challenge
Song – Turn Around

Okay commenting as I watch here. Mix’d Elements were so lame in the first round. Is this how they battle? Seriously? :s

I like how Funkdation started with their stunts, it was eye-catching. Now I’m a little interested. Okay so after their stunts there was nothing to watch. Dammit.

Back to Mix’d Elements. Now this is how you should battle. I couldn’t pause it even to type. That’s how a battle should be.

Funkdation goes again. Okay there’s the stunts, then whoa. Head hops. Head hops. Too short to make an impact though, someone actually had to point them out to me cause I was just staring at the performance with a whatever look on my face. And Funkdation specially pointed out their gymnastics girl and says that she always does their ‘big’ tricks, but so far all I’ve seen her do are back flips. *sigh* If you’re going to disappoint me, don’t give me false hope.

So the judges decision. Lil Mama chose Funkdation, D- Trix chose Mix’d Elements, and JC broke the tie by choosing Funkdation. I suppose they were the lesser of two evils.

Well episode two did not disappoint. I have favourites now :)
