I'm so jealous

Today was the day of our impromptu speeches for Public Speaking. I've been feeling a little queasy about it so I was looking forward to getting it over with. But guess what?


I didn't get to do mine today :S


How much does that suck? Sudhan got to do his though. Miss Kiran was soooo happy. She called him a super speaker and said that he's the best impromptu speaker she'd ever heard. Wow. So yeah. No pressure.


His topic was retrenchment :S Yikes. He was talking about how his dad got retrenched and how it affected his family. After his awesome speech was over, he came and said "Thank God my dad got retrenched". LOL


I don't know what I would have done if I had gotten that topic. So yeah, thank goodness his dad got retrenched hehe. So my speech will be next Tuesday. In front of the entire lecture class instead of the tutorial class. Thanks a lot Miss Kiran. No added pressure at all. I'm not gonna stop talking for the next few days :S


Anyway I was practicing with Sudhan today and it wasn't so bad. But it wasn't awesome :( My speaker savvy has gone missing for the moment. I'm hoping I recover it in time for my impromptu speech :S


Speaking of speeches, my topic for my persuasive speech got shot down. Damn. I was looking forward to it too. So now I have no clue what I'm gonna do for the persuasive speech and the outline is due next Wednesday. Awesome shit. For some reason, the only topic that comes to mind is S&M. Hehe not too sure that would go down too well with the lecturer. She already shot down Aaron's topic of Pornography as an Art Form :P So yeah, S&M, I don't think so.


Maybe I should talk about tv shows. Since that's all I've been very up to date with :) Hey I could talk about Criminal Minds. But what to persuade people about? :S


Finding a topic is getting harder than I thought. Anyway, I did promise to update my blog but not to this level of boring shit assness. Oh well, hopefully something more interesting comes along soon :)
