I'm loving my semester so far :)
Why, you ask? Well I happen to be taking only ONE subject. This subject happens to be everything I need to right now, namely relaxation. It is called Public Speaking and Oral Presentation. Too good to be true? Wait til you hear the rest. NO FINALS??? Noooooooooo........
So yeah. I'm free as a bird to do whatever I please and guess what?
I'm bored :S
Lol I really need something to do. I have nothing much to study and the only thing I could prepare for at the moment is a persuasive speech I have to give next week. And yeah it may sound a little soon but it's a short semester, everything comes too soon.
Just 7 weeks of doing some shit in Public Speaking and I'm free. I don't need study break, I don't have finals. Wow. Too much free time. At least carolling is coming though :)
Speaking of which, Michael will be in charge of carolling this year. That's right, the very same Michael Cowling studying in Australia. He'll be back in November though. Hasn't given us much time to miss him lol. He's been coming up as though travelling from JB instead of Australia. So yeah, he's got plans. We're trying to rope in all the young people so we the older bunch don't end up syok-ing sendiri and yelling ourselves hoarse so we can be heard.
Musicians are scarce though. So far we've only got Joash and Keith to play the guitar. Managed to convince Lisa to try and brush up with her playing so she can at least stand in when they're tired or whatever. Sudhan seemed very enthusiastic when I asked him if he could help out a little with the guitar playing. So all I need to do is constantly nag these 2 monkeys to practice, practice, practice. Awesome, I get the mom job again :P It seems Nygel can play the bongos. YES!! New blood :) Other than that, no sound. Which is pretty sad but when has that ever stopped us? :D
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, when we went for Patrick's brother's wedding on Saturday I saw this small girl (whose name was my middle name :o) dancing and it really had me itching to do a dance for church. It's been so looooooong. Of course I haven't forgotten the headaches and knocking of heads on walls to get things done. But still, it would be so fun. If only the Christmas Party was a sure thing we could start planning but it seems the road is strewn with obstacles yet. Sigh.... It would still be fun though :D Would be nice to see all these macho obsessed guys start shaking their hips doing the girls steps again. Although at the time it would definitely piss me off that they're practicing the girls stuff more than their own. And telling the girls that the guys steps are shit easy and we're the ones who have to do all the work. Lol organising the dances (not to mention the dancers) were always a headache, but a fun one :P
Other than that I suppose there has been no news.
G has left for Kampar :(
Mom's birthday is approaching :)
