Fun filled Sunday

Sunday was fun :)

I suppose the real fun started the night before though lol.

Anyway, we all went to church as usual. Sat through service as usual. The only servers were me, sis and Joash as usual. Dad's sermon shocked the crap out of me when at one point he suddenly said "That's cool, man! That's really cool!". I just turned and stared at my sister and she was giggling while I just stared in awed disbelief :S Joash was obviously not paying attention as usual. He was busy dreaming away.

So everything was going pretty much normally :) After service as usual I went looking for food cause as usual I was late in the morning and didn't have breakfast. I was innocently eating my tuna sandwich when I suddenly caught a glimpse of Jamie's new red hair. Or at least that's what it looked like. She told me it was supposed to be purple ;p The only person I know who can pull off that colour la :)

So we had absolutely nothing to do. Just hanging around and talking, talking, talking as we normally do. Then Jamie and Joash decided to go to McD and get us all something to eat. Then we were all just hanging around waiting with nothing to do. Oh but one shock I got was when Sandra citti came and told me that I have to sing a SOLO of Oh Holy Night, which is like the most difficult solo for vocally challenged people like me, on a MIKE in front of the WHOLE church next Sunday :S It's for the Christmas play that the Sunday School kids are gonna be putting up. I probably should have gotten an advanced warning about this :S The horror of it. I've already started praying that I don't go off key or lose my breath. Fingers crossed.

Then carolling practice started :)

We were all eating McD's over-salted and over-fried and over-calory-filled food before practice started :) Is it a tradition that at this time of year we all become food obsessed pigs? Oh wait, thats the case for the rest of the year too. Hehe

Practice was fun :) I always enjoy carolling practice. Oh but Jamie was like majorly stressed out. We were walking on eggshells around her man :S hehe. Ok it wasn't that bad I'm just exaggerating :) But yeah, regardless, practice was great :)

After that was over we went for the band practice for the Christmas party. Actually we didn't practice much, or at all :) It was just Matt (our Musician GOD) teaching Joash and Edgar how to play the songs. So far they got Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer right and it sounded totally awesome!!

We left church quite late. People are gonna think we're all godly and innocent if we keep this up :S But then again no one in their right mind would describe me as godly and innocent :)

After dropping off Edgar and Tasha, Jamie and Matt came over for a while. Its always so nice to have them in the house.

Oh and for some reason me and Joash kept fighting everywhere-in church, in the car, at carolling practice, at band practice (at home is a given la). Matt kept saying he would love to have a brother and sister like us LOL. And yes I did try to convince him he would get tired of us after about a week or so. In fact, why go so far? Three days would be enough :) Sis tried in vain to get Matt to take us away lol.

Oh and when they came to the house the pigging out started again. There was ONE packet of fried rice at home to be shared among FIVE people. Do the math, it ain't enough even to make me half full. So after we finished the rice me and Jamie pigged out on Maggi Mee. What can I say? We were hungry :S

Finally, I went next door to play Hannah and Beth's Wii for a while with them after Jamie and Matt left. Hannah had me beat at every single sport we played :S She's good. oh and have I mentioned that Hannah, and EIGHT year old, and I are the same shoe size? :S Damn...

When I was about to leave my keys suddenly disappeared :S Me, Hannah, Beth and Auntie Judi were all practically crawling all over the living room looking for them. I still think Beth hid it somewhere lol. Nah she wouldn't la actually. But then again....

So they convinced me to stay for dinner. A PASTA dinner. And the portion was really big too. Imagine how overly huge I felt when I got home :(

But hey who's complaining? :) I enjoyed myself anyway. It was a really good day and I just felt happy at the end of it. So yeah I had to blog about it :)

Maybe it's just the Christmas spirit catching on :)
