This post is aimed at no one in particular. Just the general population of men (and women) who are obsessed about appearances.
I am well aware that I am overweight. What a shocker, I know. Who knew that overweight people didn't need it pointed out every now and then how they needed to shed a few pounds? So to all you conscientious motherfuckers out there who thought it necessary to keep telling me how fat I am, thank you so much for your services but I assure you, they were never needed nor will they ever be.
To all you jerks out there who look at me and only see all those pounds of extra fat, I pity you. Clearly you think you can impose some sort of inferiority complex on me just because you're slim and hot or whatever. Sadly though, I don't care for your opinion or your deep, unresolved issues about your own self esteem. If knocking at me because I'm heavier than you makes you feel superior to the rest of the human race, go right ahead because you're making a fool of no one but yourself.
Also to all those people who are actually close to me, if you think that making jokes at my expense is supposed to be 'motivation' for me to lose weight, wake up and smell the goddamn coffee. What you're doing isn't 'motivation', it is called humiliation, pure and simple. It does not make me want to go to the gym and workout harder to prove you wrong. It just makes me imagine what it would be like to kill you slowly and torturously with a metal spoon heated on the stove.
And yes, I am well aware that though I claim there is nothing to be ashamed of being overweight, that I've been hitting the gym trying to lose weight. Let's get one thing straight. I am losing this weight for myself and no one else. I don't care if a hot guy sees me all slim and feels attracted to me because the truth is, if he were a real man the last thing he would care about is how I look on the outside.
And when I do lose this weight, which I will, I will be celebrating with people who deserve to be called true friends. People who look at me and see a great sense of humour, a sharp wit, an unparalleled dose of sarcasm, anything other than my chubby cheeks, jelly belly and thunder thighs.
So to all you pitiful assholes out there who thinks that your 'good looks' will allow you to sail through life being loved and cherished, get a life. The only person who'd agree with you on your opinion of people who are overweight probably thinks you could use a little less pounds on those thighs too.
Like Lil Mama said, I ain't hatin'. It's just the raw, scathing truth. Plain and simple.
