Degree life...

Well I have survived a week of degree life unscathed so far. Well as usual I obviously have a litany of complaints about UTAR. For example, what were they thinking putting the campus in such a dreary and dead place? As an old rediscovered friend said, its a freaking graveyard! And I honestly can't even imagine eating in nowhere other than the cafeteria every single freaking day..this one all a bit over la. And not only that, I rarely see any indians around la. After getting so used to such a big gang back in foundation, getting used to the lack of indians is quite traumatising hehe. Nevertheless I did have a good week. It was quite a relaxing one for the first week...degree some more.

Well the first day I was majorly lost. I was surprised that the girls seemed so settled in even though they had only been there a day more than me. The thing is, I only registered on Tuesday. But anyway, as I later discovered, there was nothing much to settle in to. But obviously the first thing I noticed about my class was that this was no TD15 and TD16. Which was to be expected la but I was still disapointed. It was just so QUIET and so...mundane. The only saving grace was that (THANK GOD) Anna and Shu were both in the same class. I have no idea what I would have done without them in that God forsaken class hehe. Love you darlings!!

On Wednesday we finished early so we ended up meeting Aaron and Gabe after class at Wangsamaju. We just wanted to go to Jusco. Lame I know but that was one of the least lamest options we had hehe. So we got on a Rapid which clearly said JUSCO which ended up bringing us on a wild goose chase all over the place. Basically, anywhere but Jusco hehe. On the bright side, we had quite a tour of the Setapak area :) In the end, we gave up and headed for KLCC. And here you get to see all the hugely beneficial things we were doing. Namely...camwhoring.

After that I ended up going for Terminator Salvation with Sanjeev and his friend. Toootal guy movie with no story but a lot of guns n cars and explosions and crashes. None of which fascinated me in the slightest by the way hehe.

Anyway, Thursdays our class finishes at 7 n we have a 4 hour break in between classes at 1-5. UTAR is so crazy sometimes. So us four girls and Nicholas ended up going to Jusco. But before that we had to wait almost an hour and a half so that we could take our pictures for our new ID. It better look good, I have to live with it for THREE years. Jusco wasn't that eventful. I even forgot to take pictures. But we had fun la...especially at Vincci and Nose. Or maybe it was just me. As usual, when shoes are around I tend to be oblivious to all else hehe.
Friday was a very reminiscing-y day haha. I went to PJ to get my results slip and see all these people who I haven't laid eyes on for quite some time hehe. First person I saw was Khuben and of course the first thing he asked for was a massage haha. Haven't changed a bit :) And of course he and Nanthinee were fighting the whole dam time, that hasn't changed either. But the only thing that has changed was that Nevin was soooo freaking quiet the whole time. I didnt hear 'aagaa' one single time. He scared me a little hehe. Hopefully that was only temporary. Anyway Thibash was dam sweet, he belanja-ed me at Old Town. And Aaron was acting weird I duno why. But basically nothing has changed la. All still the same monkeys. And to be honest, we would prefer if it stayed that way anyway hehe. So after sitting and talking to Thiyaagoo and finding out Gabe is class rep now (OMG LOL!!!) I followed Gabe to the mamak where CK and Thilagan were. We were there when Anna, Shu and Michelle arrived and Gabe went to meet them. The funniest part was when Anna's Auntie and Hannah got there. I acted like normal la I waved at them and said hi and all. But these girls were so scared to say anything to me cause I was with CK who was having a smoke and all so they just ignored me. It was so hilarious. Auntie probably thought we had some major fight or what hehe. Anyway I got a ride in SOMEONE's new car after that. Riding back to Asia Jaya was so deja vu-ey. It wasn't an action packed day or anything but I had a total great time hanging out with the guys and Nanthinee. Nice to see that hasn't changed either :D
